Unfortunately the stock is distributed from our supplier’s warehouse, therefore a collection cannot be arranged.

Each of our items shows either an 'In stock' status or an estimated lead time in days. If the items are in stock in our warehouse, we aim to ship them out for delivery the next working day when ordered before 2pm. If the items show a lead time in days, this is our best estimate for how long it will take us to get them to you. We typically either order them direct from the manufacturer, or get them in before shipping them out. Please note that the longest lead time will be the most appropriate as we look to collate your order and send it out together in most cases. If you're in a hurry, we can often help. We send our items such as taps, shower valves and accessories with a door-to-door courier service. You will be notified that your order has been dispatched by email as soon as it leaves us. Orders within major cities will be delivered within 3-4 working days. Orders outside of major cities/regional areas may take up to 7 working days. Yes, of course. We offer a 15 day money back guarantee. The item must be returned in its original undamaged packaging.

Everything we sell is backed up by a manufacturer’s warranty. We offer a 10 year warranty on all our Essco range of products. In addition, it is usually possible to obtain spare parts even years later – just ask us. However, we cannot be held liable for faults that develop after 12 months should the manufacturer have gone out of business or discontinued the item.

Unfortunately all of our taps and mixers work with a ceramic disc mechanism. You would require a minimum pressure of 0.2 bar and up for the products to perform correctly.

The average, modern combination geyser generally gives out at least 1 bar of pressure, so you can have pretty much anything you want with the exception of items rated at more than 1 bar minimum pressure (generally things like shower towers with body jets, some freestanding taps, very large rain shower heads, single lever mixers etc.) If in doubt, ask your plumber.

You are more than welcome to DIY install – we can’t tell you what to do with the items you buy from us. However, we do generally recommend installation by a qualified plumber. There is a reason plumbers are well-paid – it’s not as easy as the online videos and how-to guides make out! If you are installing an item yourself and you’re having trouble, by all means send us a message, but it’s generally better to call the manufacturer’s technical helpline as we do not offer technical advice. If we could, we’d all be working as plumbers!

A pop-up waste usually refers to the type of waste where there is a lever on the back of the tap itself that you push up and down to operate the waste. A clicker waste (more popular nowadays), is a standalone waste fitting where you simply press the waste itself to click it open and closed.

We strongly recommend that you do not use abrasive cleaners that contain bleach, even if they say they are suitable, as you run the risk of wearing down the chrome finish and invalidating the warranty. Most manufacturers offer a guarantee that is invalidated if you use products that contain bleach, and should a finish issue arise, they generally run a lab test to check what has been used to clean the item. If your order is damaged, please let us know as soon after delivery as possible. We require notification of damaged items within 48 hours of delivery if there are any problems. Contact us here info@emmersan.co.za

If you’ve requested multiple deliveries to get your order to you faster, your item may still be on its way. We occasionally split orders into multiple consignments if our warehouse is out of stock, but our supplier’s warehouse has an item ready. If your order doesn’t match the delivery note within the package, please send us an email info@emmersan.co.za

We follow a systematic buying process and ensure that we only buy and stock genuine manufacturer products, and so you'll never find replicas as there is absolutely no space for duplicate products. Therefore, it's our assurance that you'll get only original products of reputed brands when buying from us. Thus, you can shop from us with complete peace of mind, as you'll get only superior quality products that will serve you for many years to come.

Once you place your order for the product(s) and your payment is received in our bank account, we’ll dispatch your product within 24 hours.

We supply taps with standard fittings, thus getting a replacement spare part is very easy. You can approach the hardware store that is nearest to you, or alternatively you can send us a request and we’ll assist you in finding the right spare part. 

Normally, we stock all the products that are listed on our site; however, if a product is not available, it will have a pre-order option with the anticipated lead time.

Unfortunately, we do not offer an installation service. We recommend booking a professional to install purchased goods.

We estimate all standard deliveries to be delivered within 2-10 working days from the date an order is placed.

We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible but sometimes due to stock levels or other unforeseen reasons, delays can occur. Our website displays real time stock information for each product on our website along with pre-order options with an anticipated lead times.

Once you have placed an order, you will receive a confirmation email with your order number. You will receive further emails once your order has been dispatched by our specialist warehouse team.

All our orders are delivered free of charge using a door-to-door courier service.

We always recommend you try to ensure someone is home for the time of your delivery. Please be aware that if a delivery is missed, a re-delivery fee may apply.

If your payment is declined, please check that you have entered all the information displayed on your card correctly, and that all required fields have been filled in. If any problems persist, please contact us via email team regarding the issue, providing as much detail as you can, and we will try to resolve it for you as soon as possible. To place an order, the process is quick and easy. Simply browse the products you're interested in on our website, add the goods you want to your basket, then proceed to the delivery and payment pages to complete the order.

Yes, all our prices include VAT.

Our items have a dimensions drawing besides the main picture which will give you an accurate scale of the product.

We keep all of our product pages up to date with live stock notifications, so you can see if your desired product is in stock, and if not - when it is expected. You can place pre-orders on items that are not currently in stock and they will be shipped as soon as they are available. Please note, ETAs are best estimates and can be subject to change.

Most of our products come complete with installation instructions. However, if yours become lost or damaged, then please contact us via email info@emmersan.co.za. Where possible we will email you another copy.

Yes, our team are happy to arrange pre-orders. You will see a pre-order button below the product. Hovering your mouse over the pre-order button will advise you as to the approximate lead time.

Yes, we are happy to help source items you may have found elsewhere.

If your goods are unwanted but still in a re-sellable condition, you have 15 days from receipt of your goods to send these items back to us for a refund or if after 15 days, we are only able to offer an exchange. All goods must be unused and in original packaging upon return. We cannot refund any goods that have been damaged whilst in your possession.

Please be aware that it is your responsibility to arrange the shipping on unwanted items. We are not responsible for any return costs on unwanted goods. Read our returns policy here.

If you need to cancel an order for any reason, please get in contact with us immediately by email (info@emmersan.co.za) and providing us with your order reference number. Once you have received the cancelled order, please return the item back to us within 15 days of receiving the parcel.

All goods must be returned unused and in original packaging. Please be aware that we cannot refund goods that have been damaged whilst in your possession. We are not responsible for any return costs associated with unwanted items, and you will need to arrange the shipping yourself to ensure safe return.

If you have received an incorrect item, please let us know within 48 hours using the contact form, or by emailing info@emmersan.co.za and somebody will look into your order and contact you as soon as possible. We aim to resolve these issues within 48 hours.

We are able to offer an exchange on items as an alternative to receiving a full refund. Once your goods have been received back with us, you will receive a notification email, which will include the next steps.

Please note, additional delivery charges may be incurred.

You should check with your courier to see how long it takes for returned items to arrive back with us. Once goods are received by us it generally takes 7-10 days to process your refund.

Unfortunately, we cannot arrange to pick up any returns, and you are responsible for arranging safe postage of any returned items.

You can try three relatively easy methods to unclog a shower drain. Firstly, get rid of any hair that might be residing in the drain, and pour boiling hot water down the plughole. If that doesn’t sort out the problem, try using a combination of baking soda and vinegar to clear out the drain. And if the drain is still clogged at this point, you have the option of using a plunger, plumber’s snake or a chemical drain opener to tackle the issue.

Bathroom vanity units do not need to be attached to a wall, however, wall hanging vanity units are the most popular design on the market. And in small bathrooms in particular, space might dictate that the bathroom vanity unit will have to be attached to the wall.
There is a wide range of bathroom vanity units available to suit any bathroom area though, inclusive of freestanding vanity units in modern and traditional styles in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

Please ensure the item is well packed as we are unable to provide refunds for products that are returned to us damaged.

Because our range of products and prices is constantly being updated, it proved impractical to offer a printed brochure as it would be out of date as soon as it is printed. You can see our up to date product range on our website, each of our products has a photograph and description on the website.

We don’t include invoices with the delivery. Your invoice will be emailed to you.

You will need to e-mail us at info@emmersan.co.za. You will need to include the order number and your full name and address in the email. You will receive a cancellation number to confirm that your order has been cancelled. If you do not have a cancellation number then the order has not been cancelled.
